[OSGeo-UK] Accountant Recommendation for OSGeo:UK & FOSS4G 2027

Hello,

We (OSGeo:UK) are hosting FOSS4G 2027 in Bristol, and this raises some
interesting accounting questions.

Do you know a friendly accountant who’d be willing to help us out on this?
We need someone with experience of working with unincorporated
associations, ideally not-for-profit unincorporated associations.

In short, we are looking for details on:

   1.

   VAT Exemption:  What’s the requirement and process for VAT exemption ?
   What does it actually cover?
   2.

   VAT registration: What’s the process and management required for VAT
   registration?
   3.

   Managing Accounts: Recommendations for managing conference related
   invoices/expenses for OSGeo:UK.
