<p>Hi Folks,</p>
<p>We have now opened nominations for Secretary and 2 committee
members for the OSGeo:UK committee. We want you to be involved in
promoting Open Source Geospatial software in the UK and direct
what OSGeo:UK should be doing over the next three years.</p>
<p>The Secretary monitors the OSGeo:UK email account, and takes
notes for the AGM and committee meetings.<br>
Committee members will help the wider committee with their work in
any way they wish to. We do need a committee member to take on the
role of looking after the newsletter, currently done by Alastair
Graham.<br>
Full support and training will be given!</p>
<p>We specifically encourage nominations from groups under
represented in geospatial.</p>
<p>These roles have a term of 3 years, and you can stand for as many
terms as you like. </p>

saying which position (Secretary or committee member or both) you
would like to nominate yourself for by Monday 12th October (before
the AGM at 3:45pm). Nominations can also be done in person at the
AGM, and if necessary a vote will be conducted at the AGM. </p>
