[UN] UN Workshop in Brindisi

Dear Jeroen,
thanks for your highlighting the business aspects.
Actually I think (but will find out only there) that UN secretariat intend
to test the adoption of two software (see title of the workshop: GeoSHAPE &
OpenGDS) and to hear from us about our community and way of collaborating.
Incubation for instance could be a good starting point for discussion: how
UN intend to guarantee the openness of a software they intend to adopt?
The other relevant aspect is that OSGeo projects will be presented
(actually they are the pillar which GeoSHAPE is built on) and certainly i
will push for their adoption (in a neutral way with respect to any company
or technology).
So for instance if you have one slide to push the importance of GeoNetwork
or any other OSGeo's project I will be glad to use them.
You are right this workshop is not open to everyone, but it will be my task
to detail any outputs and discussion.
