would it be possible to make the translations available to everybody?
I would appreciate small flags to select the translation.
Above approach will often fail. Examples:

- in my Italian office I am using an us_EN Linux distro with us_EN
  locale, but want to show the upcoming Italian translation to colleagues
- at home I am using a de_DE location with us_EN browser and want
  to ... ok you got it :-)

What do you think?
