There is ongoing confusion from some users (mainly MapGuide users)  
who think they still have a reason to login to osgeo.org.  The only  
reason I think they want to do it is to manage their mailing list  
subscriptions or to use tracker.  I would like to remove the obvious  
login box on the main osgeo.org.  I already did this for  
mapguide.osgeo.org and fdo, as requested by those projects.  Instead  
I put a small link in the footer of the page called "Administrator  
login".  Any objections to applying this?

I will also send out a note to the various lists mentioning that the  
approach to logins on osgeo.org has changed.

Make sense?  Comments/ideas?
