Thanks for the warm welcome :) To get started I think I'll need 2 things:
1) An account on the server which will allow me to install new modules
for Drupal (full shell if possible)
2) An account with admin privileges (and access to account 1)

I know it's asking for a lot, but to be really effective I think I'll
need that. *shrug*

There are a few modules which might do that, or then I'll tweak an
existing module to do what we want. Do you have a test site set up?

The cool thing with Drupal is that you can easily just dump HTML in it,
yea even PHP. But it also offers to give people not used to web autoring
the possibility of contributing content, without needing to worry too
much about formatting.

I'm certanly interested in helping people use Drupal to their advantage.
GRASS also wants to go Drupal on OSGeo.
