Heh.  I removed those so that I could "ignore empty directories" in
Tortoise.

Jason,

Ah, now I see what you meant from the meeting.  In fact, whenever I have
deleted directories from CVS in the past, I've done it directly on the
server which we don't have access to in this case.  Doh!

Being unable to remove it, I have checked in a small text file named
THIS_DIRECTORY_UNUSED so at least it will be a bit easier to realize the
directory is just residual.
