I would still like to propose having a 'community.osgeo.org' domain
running on our main server - which would be geared more toward
community centric communications - as opposed to our more general
'public face'. But I do agree, that the current prototype, hosted on
osuosl.org, is confusing to have and could be decommissioned.

There are some remaining pieces of test code on there - I'm not sure
if the creators know how to recreate them or not. Jo? or anyone
else have pieces on there to copy out?

It was our primary testbed for the language translation modules. At
present it is the only prototype/development instance we really have,
but Shawn is setting up our second hosted server (for mirroring our
primary) that we can use as a test/dev. instance of drupal for
testing major CMS changes or new modules, etc. while not touching our
primary CPU or other parts of the system.

Does that sound like a good idea? I'm keen to get a prototype up and
running on our new systems, so we can test any new development there
first, including some new translation modules. What do others
think? Does that make sense?
