The XML Post request should work, it was supposed to be supported for years now but we didn't used for a while now. Maybe there is something in the way we parse the XML file I will take a deeper look at it right now and will keep you informed asap about what happened.

To support the QGIS WPS Client we modify a bit the way we parse the incoming POST request so maybe we introduce some new issue here. Anyway the form is a bit old and use a request parameter which is not valid as wps POST request should arrive with body content rather than using any request parameter. I'm not sure this form can be still used as-is without adding some javascript to post request in the right way.
