Dear Frans,
this is really an amazing idea.

I think that ZOO-Project may provide a new workshop material re-using the same idea as the lustiest one, I mean by using building blocks but this time with more complex user interface and totally different goals.

In fact I thought for long now about a workshop where attendees can use pgRouting algorithms to search for path, then use the profile service to display for the path found. Obviously we can also do similar spatial query as made in the first workshop to display POI near by the path.. All the workshop will provide a full application fro routing and a little bit more using old services.
