Hi Lauren,
thanks for coming back with the XML request.

So I gave it a try to the full script until I can get a message informing me that the Identifier is not available for processing (which is the expected result as I don’t get the corresponding service available on my setup).

Even if I tried using curl with the same xml file (containing the first line empty) but it worked. Nevertheless, I was pretty sure that this first empty line was the issue. I don’t know if curl is fixing the request, but I guess it does not. Anyway, then I tried by using your python code and I got initially the same result as you got. Nevertheless, I simply tried again by rewriting the xml variable and removing the first empty line. Hopefully I then got the expected result (identifier is wrong).

So I would like you to try again after rewriting the XML POST request by removing the first empty line and then everything should run fine.
