Do you speak about updating to revision 623 or 633 ? Anyway, I’m really not sure about the issue. I would like to invite you to test using the rev. 634 [1].
For the issue you mentioned about wrong message during configure, this is now fixed.

I take advantage of this answer to mention that the rev. 634 introduce a preliminary SAGA-GIS support which comes just after the OrfeoToolbox support integrated some months ago.

I hope you can try some of those new services and you can confirm that you don’t have any issue with rev. 634.
