Dear all,
for the first day of the code sprint here in Bonn, I am glad to announce that the result of this first day was the revision 873.
This revision gives the capability to ZOO-Service implementers to use the R language directly to implement their new services.
The basic « Hello World » service has been implemented for illustrating the function. Nevertheless, the hellor ZOO-Service also produces a useless graph, simply to demonstrate that Diagram production is as easy as it can be from the R interpreter.
Also, we have provided a very basic sample WPS Service that failed, to show clearly to the end-developper how to implement a service that may be failing.
To finish with the sample WPS Service implemented using the R language a RVoronoi service has been implemeted and works like the previous Vornoi implementation which was using the CGAL library but, this time it does not produce lines but the polygones and the limit of the triangulation has been fixed to the extent of the points dataset provided as input.
Anyway, all this to say small good words about the work going on here.
Have a nice end of the day everyone.
Best regards,
Gérald Fenoy
