Dear All
The venue has been shifted of one week in advance (was not easy but at the end I succeeded). Now we are not going to change it anymore an therefore the venue is completely fixed. The wonderful point is that I'll have Arnulf in Como!!!! (Thanks Arnulf)
Summarizing:
14 July: workshops
15-16-17 conference
18 code sprint.
At the moment we are considering ( a part from the general sessions)
1) water track (1 day organized together with Hydroinformatics people)
2) academic track (1 day, at the moment organized by Sven Schade and I)
3) open data track (half day at the moment organized by Maurizio Napolitano, alias Napo)
I suppose to be able to organize 3 parallel sessions. In case we have too many contributions we can use also for a parallel session the Aula Magna, even if it is generally sad when you have only 60-80 people in a room with 500 people capacity. We will see.
Please I want to know who offers himself to help organizing and for doing what.
Many thanks!
Maria

So this will bind some resources and obviously all attending AGIT will not be able to come to FOSS4G-E. But the overlap is probably not so big anyway, is my guess. Regular attendees will typically not go to two events in a row either so moving the schedule by a few days would only help those more involved folks who would want to attend both (like me and maybe one or two others). We might get a better idea how many this would be if we ping the FOSSGIS Talk list, maybe you can do that (not sure how many Germans are aware of this list).
