I would be happy to move the meeting time up by an hour (or two even),  
but the folks on the West Coast NA (California and BC) would be rubbing  
sleep out of their eyes.

Of course, once we decide the time, there is the issue of other  
commitments. I would be just as happy to do this on the weekends when  
it is least likely for clashes with other appointments.

Well, the TZ information is already there... I even created a  
spreasheet with the relevant time calculations neatly color-coded and  
all. Of course, the recent DST shift threw a wrench into all that, but  
only by an hour.

As I said, my time (GMT-6) around 8a or 9a seems to be the most  
convenient around the world. Yes, once we get this first meeting  
rolling, perhaps we can also give some thought to regularizing the  
meeting... maybe once a month or so other than any extraordinary calls  
for meetings.
