Hi all

John, Daniel - thanks for the tidy up/review. And +1 to Greg’s suggestions.

I’ve made a couple more comments in the doc - and will keep reviewing.

Agree that we should get cracking on the 2019 event and not wait until an
entity is formed. A lot can be done (as for 2018) before the event can
start dealing with transactions.

As for nominating people for 2019: as a 2018 committee we’ve already done
all the nomination we had the power to do there, which was say ‘yep, let’s
hand over to team Wellington, we believe you can do it!’.

…and now it’s firmly in Daniel’s hands to start the ball rolling for 2019,
form an LOC, and reach out to people he wants to seek advice from. I
believe everyone involved in 2018 has already offered as much support as is
needed!

Remember, nobody vetted the 2018 committee - we just did it. I think the
same freedom(s) should apply for future LOCs; I believe this is generally
the pattern for OSGeo conferences (not sure about SotMs)

Cheers

Adam
