That explains the extreme peak in registration 6 weeks before the FOSSGIS2015.
Apparently, not only the Scottish and Dutch are vulnerable to discount prices ;-)

@Katja: can you recall what the discount was (normal price was 140 euro I guess)

the FOSSGIS Conference has an earlybirth ticket, until 6 weeks before the conference starts.

It give some planning certainty and it's a good thing for marketing like "hey people get the lower price until..."
