[fusion-dev] Improving selection handling using OL vectors

in terms of the selection handling in Mapguide, it's pretty klunky at
the moment
and involves multiple round trips and re-rendering the entire map.

what do people think of switching to return geojson or kml and
rendering the selection
as a OL vector layer? Including a fall back to the existing process
for massive selections
which IE can't handle?
