Hi Tim,

Do you have the units set in the measure tool widget like so?

<Widget>
      <Name>Measure</Name>
      <Type>Measure</Type>
      <Description/>
      <Extension>
        <Type>distance</Type>
        <RulerTooltipContainer>RulerResults</RulerTooltipContainer>
        <RulerTooltipType>dynamic</RulerTooltipType>
        <Units>Kilometers</Units>
      </Extension>
      <ImageUrl>images/icons/measure.png</ImageUrl>
      <Tooltip>Click on the map to measure</Tooltip>
</Widget>

Cheers

Paul.
