P.S. The JPEG committee is apparently trying to collect evidence of
prior art (at least 1 year prior to the patent date of Octber 1986, I
think) relating to JPEG compression technologies (discrete cosine
transforms, etc), which it can use to undermine Fraudulent's patent
claim. If you know of anything, let them know...
