Sylvain,

Currently the only route to VPF (including DCW and the modern equivelent
VMAP0) is via the OGDI support in OGR.  You need to build OGDI (ogdi.sf.net)
first, and then build OGR with OGDI support enabled.  Then use a string like
this as the datasource name to open the VPF dataset:

   gltp:/vrf/usr4/mpp1/v0noa/vmaplv0/noamer

The OpenEV_FW 1.5.4 builds for linux and windows include OGDI support, and
could be used for preliminary tests of VPF support.  Some more info on the
OGDI driver is available at:
