[Gdal-dev] Query a Point- Need help

Hi,
Iam building an application using OGR for a vehicle tracking system. Iam
able to plot the vehicles on the map. Iam using shape files and I have
polygon(boundries) and line(road) layers. I want to find out the current
location(Area name and Road Name)of the vehicle using the
coordinates(lat,long) of the vehicle. How can i do this?. Can any one
suggest me a method to do this.?
