SWBD comes in approx. 12k simple Shapefiles which can be read by
'ogr2ogr'. I did some comparison between SWBD and GSHHS (visit
http://mapserver.flightgear.org/ and select the respective layers to
see yourself) and to my opinion you want to prefer GSHHS over SWBD in
most cases,
