[gdal-dev] gdal file conversions

I am using NDFD .bin files such as ds.mint.bin. Is there a way to convert
them to a text format that would include coordinate information as well as
the data values?

I have been able to get a grid of temps with 

 

gdal_translate  -of AAIGrid -b 1 ds.mint.bin outputfile

 

but I would like to be able to create a file that shows lat long values
along with the temps.
