Thanks for the offer, but I cannot accept money for GDAL work due to my 
contract with my employer. But you could consider a donation to OSGeo paypal ( 
look for "Support OSGEO" at the right of http://www.osgeo.org/ ). Note that 
modest amounts are not normally kept track of as project specific, due to the 
overhead it would cause to OSGeo accounting.
