The behaviour of the pansharpening processing is described at :

To answer more precisely your question, this depends if the bands come with 
georegistration. If so, then the pansharpening should do the right thing. 
Otherwise you'll have to attach to them prior to pansharpening, for example 
with gdal_translate -a_ullr (-of VRT). You can use pixel units if needed to 
just describe the shift. Do not forget that GDAL convention for registration 
is the coordinates of the corner of pixels .
