Access to non-OGC data?

All of the discussion around free data cataloguing/access is very
exciting.

There are a considerable number of sources that are free, but require
navigating complex structures to find what you are looking for. Here
are some examples:

Manitoba Land Initiative
https://web2.gov.mb.ca/mli/about_us/index.html

BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources
http://www.em.gov.bc.ca/Mining/Geolsurv/MapPlace/geoData.htm

BC Ministry of Environment FTP site
ftp://ftp.env.gov.bc.ca/dist/

City of Kamloops Data Download:
http://www.kamloops.ca/gis/index.shtml

Some of these have WMS-equivalents, but many do not.

Are you planning to support this kind of data and, where license and
technology permit, mirror it?
