Hello Bridget,
happy to hear from you and to know about your efforts in teacher training
initiatives in SA. we have also the same initiative in Egypt.  Indeed,  it
would be good to broaden our projects and activities.
I hope that everyone in this group to share her/his ideas through Africa
wiki page http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/GeoForAll_Africa. we want this wiki
page to be the first point of contact for the new members, all regional
members  and others  because communication through wiki page will be easier
than mailing list for us and for everyone who want to know about us and
our activities. we can share our news through wiki page and mailing list
also.
