Escrevo para informar que no período de 21 a 25 de novembro deste ano será
realizado na cidade de Manaus, AM, pela primeira vez um evento totalmente
voltado para educadores. Aproveito para convidá-lo a participar da XIII
Jornada de Educação em Sensoriamento Remoto no Âmbito do Mercosul com o
tema: “Por um planeta mais conhecido: consolidando as Geotecnologias na
Educação”. Esta Jornada visa estimular a reflexão sobre diferentes
aplicações das Geotecnologias e seu estado da arte, com trocas de
experiências fundamentais para ampliação do uso em ambiente escolar e
profissional. O objetivo é promover a disseminação do conhecimento sobre as
geotecnologias por meio da educação e proporcionar melhor conhecimento
sobre o planeta.Em particular, eu o convido para participar do Minicurso 3,
intitulado “Tecnologia Espacial na Educação: Interpretação de Imagens de
Satélite”, que ocorrerá durante o dia 21 de novembro, onde será apresentado
aos participantes, além da base para uma boa interpretação de imagens de
satélite, alguns projetos educacionais que utilizaram as imagens de
satélite como recurso didático em sala de aula e foram destaques, bem como
tiveram reconhecimentos nacional e internacional.  As inscrições estão

evento serão: Desenvolvimento de materiais didáticos no ensino; Novos
recursos tecnológicos para o ensino; Políticas institucionais e
governamentais; Programas de capacitação de professores; Sensoriamento
remoto no ensino: nível básico, superior e pós-graduação.O evento será
realizado na Escola Normal Superior (ENS), localizada na avenida Djalma
