IIS and Apache are both web server software. You can not have both
running under the same port on a server.

I'm running IIS6 under XP. What hasn't been clear to me until now is
whether I need to have PHP running under IIS as well as Apache, but I
gather that is the case. I'll try following the instructions on the
PHP.org site for installation under IIS6 and then follow the PHP
configuration instructions for MapServer. Should that be sufficient?

Thanks for the help!
