[Geomoose-users] Another 'pink screen' problem, but a little different

Hi Bennett,

Without seeing your code or application, I'm going to start with an
educated guess on this- there was some change in the URL and/or layer
names in your WMS. I know you stated that nothing had changed other
than server location, but something must have changed in order to break
it. Anyway, that would be my first guess.

A couple things to check- you should be developing with FireFox with the
FireBug extension. Also, you should have an error log set up so that
you can read any WMS errors. Also, try checking the WMS URL directly to
see if it's still valid. If you'd like, send us the URL to your WMS so
we can take a look.

Subject: [Geomoose-users] Another 'pink screen' problem, but a little
different

Hello Geomoose Forum,

My name is Bennett Morris and I'm the GIS Technician for Knife River
corporation in Sauk Rapids, MN. I have a pink screen problem when I
reference WMS servers (for historic aerial images / rasters), and I have
tried just about every fix mentioned by Brian Fischer, but nothing seems
to
work. Recently we moved our Geomoose (2.4) website from one company
server
location to another (for IT maintenance), and nothing was changed within
the
.map, xml or html files, but now all of our WMS links are broken (for
MN,
IA, and ND). I know that North Dakota recently changed their layer
names
for WMS objects, but even using the new names, they still don't work. I
have read / write access to the server location too.

Our old Geomoose website is still running and the Minnesota WMS links
work
on the old server, but the North Dakota and Iowa WMS services are not.
Any
help would be very appreciated, and thank you for your time.

-Bennett
