[GeoNode-users] Geonode information about current (stable) version

Tom,

We are ironing out the process of switching to a more semantic versioning.

The current stable version is the 2.6 branch created two weeks ago. 2.4 is old, master is receiving some of the changes that will go for 2.8.

We announced this in the GeoNode Developers mailing list but had not done a similar posting here, thanks for asking.
