Hi Joshi,

which version are you using? In 2.7 I see more than just WMS to add.
- WMS / WFS / WCS
- Web Map Service
- Cataloque Service
- Arc GIS REST Service
- Open Geo Portal
- Harvard Geospatial Library

If you like to test it quickly write me a private mail and I can share a demo and credentials
