Typecast

I have problems with changing a C-Code with float-variables
created from an autocode generator
into an integer-C-Code with only int variables.

Because the new C-Code has to run on real-time-hardware and it is 
necessary to have a great precision a simple typecast float into int
is not the best way.

Is there anyone, who can help me solving this problem or knows where
I can get information to this problem.
