Hello GRASS developers,
OpenUsabilty has opened a call for projects to participate the SoC like
usability review. The deadline is the 20.02.2008.

Since I think that GRASS could really benefit from such a opportunity I
took the freedom to create a wiki page on this issue:
http://grass.gdf-hannover.de/wiki/Usability

Please feel free to edit it and add your comments, perceptions etc.
Maybe we can even end up with usability guidelines for GRASS and GRASS
ADDONS.

What do you think?

I hope that my thoughts and idea is welcomed and look forward to discuss
this issue with you.

Kind regards,
Timme

Cited from OpenUsablity:
Season of Usability is a series of sponsored student projects to
encourage students of usability, user-interface design, and interaction
design to get involved with Free/Libre/Open-Source Software (FLOSS).
During a 3 to 6 month collaboration, students work together with an
experienced usability mentor and key developers of the project to
improve the user experience of a FLOSS application. The next Season of
Usability with 8 student projects will start in Spring 2008.
