[GRASS-stats] raster package

hell all,

I have tried to install raster using install.packages("raster")

but have got the error:

In getDependencies(pkgs, dependencies, available, lib) :
  package ‘raster’ is not available

I am also unable to find it in Synaptic (Ubuntu 10.04).

Here is the output of sessionInfo()
R version 2.10.1 (2009-12-14)

Any ideas how I get this package?
