arc coverages to grass

	Would converting ARC/INFO coverages into a dlg format be an easy way 
of reading files into grass4.0? One question, does the attributes for the 
ARC/INFO coverages have to be change into majors and minor codes in the dlg
process and if it does what is the proper way of changing the attributes into
Major and Minor codes.
