Problems with data using V.DIGIT

I once had a similar problem, and it turned out to be "double-lines".
That is to say, they overlapped perfectly....Ouch! You also mentioned
two polygons side-by-side, and this could also be a problem due to
slivers of overlap. These errors are common, I hear, with LULC data.
All I can say is ZOOM, ZOOM, ZOOM....and try not to squint.
