[GRASSLIST:4704] Dehaze

Hi all,

This is more a remote sensing newbie question than a
Grass question but...

I have some avhrr images with lots of smoke (haze) and
I was thinking of using some dehazing filter. The
question is, everywere I read, dehaze is used for TM
imagery. Can it be used on AVHRR?
