[GRASSLIST:9916] adding vector layer

Hello,

during a workshop we just discussed the possibility to add n vector files. I
quickly searched the GRASS manual but did not find any adequat command.

The problem is that we have one raster composed of 200 0/1 rasters, resulting in
values between 0 and 200 and now we would like to know e.g. which input raster
contributed to a value of 50.
If we would be able to add 200 vector maps including their metadata then a
normal query would result in the information which vector contributed to the
final value.
e.g. querying a location on the map with value 50 would show that input-vector
x1, x5, ..., x111 which had the value 1, contributed to the sum of 50.

So finally I was looking for a v.mapcalc command which also considered the
informations in the input vector files.
v.patch is merging the vector as far as I know and is not preserving the input
information, am I right?

regards, Martin
