[GRASS-user] Off-topic: GeoDataCamp2010 in Athens, Greece

Indeed, many gfoss friends where there to meet and discuss with them. Not much 
time to actually learn something of course...

A lot of tension, many voluntary-based works were presented.

I've talked with a couple of folks about GRASS. I have to admit I discouraged 
some people who just wanted to throw a map or two together. I redirected them 
to QGIS of course.

Well, we did not had the time to dive deep. But we had some extended 
discussions and on-display explanations about GRASS' data base and basic 
modules.

Was nice - real fun :-). Hope something like this will be repeated in Greece 
and the signals are there.
