I have been trying to import a file of the format described below using the

r.in.gdal in WinGrass6.0

r.in.gdal input=/home/ks80/data/Orthophotos/Colignan_NAT_20X.ecw output=Col
title=Col
ERROR 4: `/home/ks80/data/Orthophotos/Colignan_NAT_20X.ecw' not recognised
as a supported file format.

I always get the above message 'not recognized as a supported file format'.

According to the documentation the format should be supported

Would anyone be able to help me??

Cheers

Karl
