Martin,

Could you give us an official blessing of our BSD usage of the  
lastools stuff in libLAS to satisfy the Debian licensing  
requirements?  I know you had supported our efforts in the past, and I  
could dig up an email where we discussed things.  The lastools code  
that we currently use is a port of the commandline utilities to use  
the base library.
