[mapguide-users] Current Map DataExtent via Server API

I am using the new Maestro API (.net) and trying to get the current map
extent.

However, when I inspect the DataExtent of the runtime map it is always the
initial loaded map view, even after AJAX map zooming and panning.  For the
most common of requirements I find this capability is unusually difficult
via the API or client-side JavaScript API (which at least I can do!)
