Never used Ingrid before but I have been doing some work with SlickGrid recently.. Unfortunately as mentioned on the homepage, documentation is a bit light. However, there is a some pretty decent examples. Another thing to consider: I believe the JQuery UI team is in the process of building a datagrid widget directly into the lib.

Hi Arnie,

There is no datagrid yet in MapQuery. MapQuery is still very limited in
functionality, but I hope this will improve in the coming months. I'm
also looking for a datagrid, so if anyone has good ideas suggestions I'm
all ears. But I don't have time until FOSS4G to really start on a datagrid.
