[mapserver-users] Legend symbol rquest using WMS syntax

Hi all,

In mapserv 3.5 is there a way of retrieving the symbol for a map layer using WMS syntax?  I found an example of a wms request at Cubewerx,  which shows an example of the syntax used.

http://usl.cubewerx.com/cubestor/cubeserv/cubeserv.cgi?WMTVER=1.0.1&REQUEST=legendicon&LAYER=COASTL_1M:Foundation&SPATIAL_TYPE=LINE&STYLE=0X101040&FORMAT=GIF

If anyone has an example url, could they sent me it so I can see the syntax.
If this is not available currently, does anyone have any idea if/when it will be?
