[mapserver-users] filtering geography

Dear Mapserver Users!

Thanks in advance for your suggestions. 

Is there a way to filter certain shapes based on either 
specified min/max or based on *.dbf file attribute.

For example if only continental area of US is wanted, to filter 
all other states and zones (Puerto Rico etc.)
