Gerhard...

I believe that you now have to specify IMGAGETYPE PNG (or whatever flavor
you want) when building your MapObject.

Subject: [mapserver-users] PHP-MapScript: saveImage and imagetype

A few days ago I installed PHP-Mapscript vers. 3.6.2 from
www2.dmsolutions.on.ca
Until then I was working with vers. 3.5

Everything works fine except when using $image->saveImage("", MS_PNG, 0, 0,
40).
The output alway is a GIF-File, no matter what imagetype I use.

I also changed the IMAGETYPE-Value in the .map-file -> no change.

My System is Windows2000 and phpinfo() says:
MapScript Version ($Revision: 1.104.2.4 $ $Date: 2002/07/08 20:04:58 $)
MapServer version 3.6.2 OUTPUT=GIF OUTPUT=PNG OUTPUT=JPEG OUTPUT=WBMP
SUPPORTS=PROJ SUPPORTS=TTF SUPPORTS=WMS_SERVER SUPPORTS=WMS_CLIENT
INPUT=EPPL7 INPUT=OGR INPUT=GDAL INPUT=SHAPEFILE

What can I do to change the output-type?

Thanks
Gerhard
