I am trying to eventually compile MapServer 4.0 to have the Java
MapScript.

I am starting by trying to get the CGI version to compile under Cygwin.

I am following the HOW-TO HYPERLINK
"http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/doc40/mapserver-cygwin-howto.html"http://m
apserver.gis.umn.edu/doc40/mapserver-cygwin-howto.html , I am using
later version of support libraries though.

I have compiled gdal-1.1.9 (I want use ecw, but couldn=92t find an sdk =
for
cygwin, the solaris one didn=92t work, didn=92t bother in the end if =
anyone
could help with this), on ./configure of MapServer I=92m not quite sure
which dir to point it at as it is asking for gdal-config, but there
isn=92t a config dir.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
