[Mapserver-users] Problem with mapserver and debian linux

hello,

I have problems with compiling the mapserver 3.6.6 on debian. I have 
installed gdal --with-libtiff and gdal posts using its own libtiff and 
libgeotiff. Then I type in 
./configure --with-proj --with-gdal=/usr/local/bin/gdal-config 
It seems to find TIFF an gdal and then 
make
(c++ -O2  -Wall -DIGNORE_MISSING_DATA  -DUSE_EPPL -DUSE_PROJ 
-DUSE_PROJ_API_H -DUSE_WMS   -DUSE_TIFF  -DUSE_GD_PNG -DUSE_GD_JPEG 
-DUSE_GD_WBMP -DUSE_GD_FT    -DUSE_GDAL    -I/usr/include 
-I/usr/local/include    mapserv.o cgiutil.o   -L. -lmap -lgd -L/usr/lib 
-lgd  -lttf  -lz  -ltiff  -lttf  -lz -lproj     -L/usr/local/lib 
-lgdal.1.1      -lm   -o mapserv)

After this I try ./mapserv -v and cannot find the TIFF support.

I also tried without gdal and with --with-tiff=/usr/local with the same 
result.

What's going wrong??
